That's gonna' leave a mark

Last night I played an acoustic show at Panther Pub. Everything was going smooth until someone grabbed my mic. Heres a word to all you pub crawlers. Playing music in a bar is alot of work in itself. You got alot to take into consideration concerning the set list, and volume, are people entertained are they bored, does that guy in the back with the eye patch want to shank you. So, my point. Sometimes we dont like when you walk up and just grab at our microphone or guitar or whatever. CASE IN POINT......last night the queen of drunkville wanted to finish out Hotel California for me. She charges the stage trips over my monitor and slams into me. She fell so hard that the guitar bruised my chest.....it actually indented me. (see photo)

Another first.....lol

Nick Consone was spotted on Tuesday dropping off a large amplifier to a repair shop near his home in Massachusetts. Sources reported later that Consones main amplifier has to undergo some major repairs due to faulty wiring, forcing his next few shows to be acoustic.

Nick Consone plays open mic at In A Pigs Eye in Salem, MA

Nick Consone On The Radio

Yesterday, I could be heard on the airwaves of a UK radio station!!!! (well Internet radio...BUT STILL!!) Radiomonkey.net with DJ Matt Cheetham played Twisted and Rainy Monday off my album. I was super psyched and very humbled about the whole thing. I hope this is a sign of things to come!! It certainly made my week.
Last night I played a very short acoustic set at In A Pigs Eye, in Salem, Ma. I was very well received and people sang along which is always a plus when you do a show. Thanks to Shmoody, Jess, and Kate for coming with me. Landon Kass was also there, some of you may remember him....he's opened my shows a few times. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to talk to him, he was busy. (Look for the video soon)
That's it for now. I gotta drop my amp off at the repair shop, some of the tubes blew sadly. My next new shows will have to be acoustic. No matter, it's good to show that you can really play with out all the electronics.
Tonight I will be at Club Passim in Cambridge
